Jezebel has totally jumped the shark. It used to be kind of edgy, but now it has this party line way of thinking that is humorless and alienating. (The commenters are even worse.) The KO Barstool movement, for example: way to turn off an entire college-educated generation of would-be feminists, Jezebel. I’m so sick of them detracting from an important cause by basically being a caricature of a bitchy, self-righteous shrew. And although he is pretty terrible too, the best writer left there is ironically a man.

Also, I’m sure the Fish is aware of this, but they’ve called The Superficial a “brossip blog” in the past, as if only men can enjoy this site. If that’s not sexist and indicative of having no sense of humor whatsoever, I don’t know what is.

I don’t think you know who she is. She’s an extremely successful fashion model who has already been paid many times over, and she’s also married to a rich banker type …

It’s not like me to defend Lindsay Lohan, but walking pneumonia is a lot more common for young people than most people realize. I know four people in their early 20s who had it and it took weeks before it was diagnosed and then more time to go away. Sooooo it can and does happen. That said, it’s hard to believe anything that comes out of LiLo’s mouth so, yeah, she’s prob lying.

Whoa, J Lo much?

Rape jokes can be funny. But Tosh’s response to the heckler – i.e. talking about how funny it would be if she got raped on the spot – crossed a line. It wasn’t a joke (it certainly wasn’t witty or funny, at least). It was a threatening reminder about the vulnerability of women. The “joke” was, “You can suck my dick because whatever you say, you’re still 5,000x more likely to be forced to have sex than I am as a man. Statistically speaking, there’s a one-in-four chance that you already have been raped – ha! The world’s joke is on you, bitch, and you deserve to be raped for hurting my feelings!” I have no comment on Tosh’s earlier rape jokes and I don’t agree with what the heckler said about rape jokes never being funny, but Tosh’s specific response to her sucked and he deserves flak for that.
