Scott Stapp vows to stay out of tabloids
Mostly shirtless and rarely sexy, Scott Stapp has vowed to get his life back in order after learning prosecutors won't charge him for public drunkenness, following an incident last month in Los Angeles International airport.
"No charges have been filed by the L.A. district attorney's office, and for that I am appreciative," Stapp said in a statement. "I have said it before, but we all make mistakes, and the day will come soon enough where you no longer read of mine in the tabloids."
Part of me is pulling for the guy, if only to save us from having to watch Stapp call himself "king" as he receives video-taped fellatio again. The other part of me, the car-accident and train-wreck loving part of me, wants the former devout Christian to continue his freefall into hell, giving David Cross and Howard Stern more material to use in the process.

Ever notice that he repeatedly uses the "honk your horn" arm motion while singing his songs? Kind of like I used to do to truck drivers to get them to honk their horns, only a a little more dramatic and to the front. He needs a new signature move.

#16, exactly! He is a douchebag. I never liked Creed or Kid Rock. I remember when everybody liked them and People Magazine had Kick Rock as one of their 50 Most Beautiful People. Were they friggin blind? I only remember this because my girlfriend at the time liked him and thought he had a "bad ass" appeal. Thank god time has passed since that horrible time in music.
