VIDEO: Kanye West and Mike Meyers on SNL

kanye_west_meyers_snl.jpgMike Meyers and Kanye West made a guest appearance on the season premiere of SNL last week to poke fun at the Katrina telethon incident where Kanye said, "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

I'm surprised that everybody was so cool about participating in the sketch, and I'm even more surprised that NBC was okay with letting Kanye back in front of live TV. Putting angry unpredictable celebrities in front of a camera is always good for a few chuckles, but almost never good for business. At least Kanye didn't drag out a white person and beat him to death like I was expecting him to. Maybe they're saving that for the season finale, because that would make for a pretty sweet show. Nothing says hilarious like the live beating of a man to death.
