Anna Nicole Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida just after 2pm after she collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. She was found unresponsive in her hotel room and CPR was performed on her and a breathing apparatus was inserted into her throat. Local streets were closed off to rush her to the hospital and paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken to the hospital.
The story is still breaking so I’ll keep information posted as it comes in. If Anna Nicole’s life is anything like I’ve come to expect there’ll be a surprise twist at the end. Like a former lover tried to kill her or something, but he’s also her secret twin brother.
UPDATE: Jesus, Anna Nicole Smith is officially dead at the age of 39. According to police reports, she was already dead when she was found in her hotel room.
UPDATE 2: Apparently Anna Nicole Smith was staying with a private nurse at the hotel and the nurse was the one who found her and called 911. Nobody’s sure why she was staying with a nurse, but hospital sources are speculating she might have died of heart failure. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow, and if that doesn’t get to the bottom of this I’ve got a trench coat and magnifying glass waiting in my closet. Detective Awesome is on the case!

# 394: You knew your classmate and you interacted with her. You never knew Anna personally to pass judgement on her.
And yes, #398, everyone does die at some point but it’s not okay to laugh about it seeing as their family members are having the hardest time.
I may not exactly have a liking for Paris Hilton but I don’t know her personally to pass that kind of judgement on her or be happy if she died. Because when she does die, her family and friends will be the ones who are affected not her. So you’re not exactly causing her any pain whatsoever but the people who care about her and never did anything wrong.
Yes you’re right I did know my classmate and I didn’t know Anna. But my question was: So once again, why isn’t it okay to tell the truth about a person when they die, if the truth hurts? You leave your own legacy by your actions that you choose.
And Sid, I think one reason nobody commented on your song is because it’s a little odd and out of place. You say in the body of your post that you felt bad about talking trash about her after you found out she died and apologized for it and wish you were able to edit your post so you could remove what you said. Then you post a song saying you wish she had blown you and you called her a whore, among other mean things. It just didn’t go with the rest of your post, if you know what I mean. Then in the post you made after you said nobody should post anything negative anymore. Not that I think you have to censor yourself just because she’s dead but I did find it out of place with the rest of your posts. And you’re right, she was a star for an audience with no class.
#402- She did answer your question.
She said that you didn’t know Anna Nicole personally, and therefore you can’t really say whether what you are saying about her is true or not. Once again, all that we really know about her is what we have watched on TV and read in tabloids.
The song parody wasn’t so much about taking her down, but rather the suggestions that she was another Marilyn Monroe, or our “Diana.” Many began to wonder if Elton might pull out Candle in the Wind again.
Not that he would, but we’ve been so saturated with media of this kind, it’s only natural for us to wonder about such things.
I do wish I could delete all that stuff I wrote BEFORE it was confirmed. Like I said, these celebs are always “collapsing” and having overdoses. They usually seem to bounce back, while people starving to death in Africa collapse and die, and the Iraqis collapse and die, and even our soldiers collapse and die.
I said “bad luck” on anyone who posts mean after #400, and I’m not posting mean; maybe she woulda been cool to know if I had a chance, but we’re the little people, and we don’t get to hang with people who own multiple houses and make regular appeareances on Larry King.
Further insofar as not posting mean after 400 is concerned, maybe being born into poverty made her aggresive. She certainly had a lot of bad people around her, making things worse, exploiting her for cash.
For some people, I would be glad. I wouldn’t do it to them, but if it happened, I’d celebrate. Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, and Saddam, who gives a shit?
Paris Hilton…born rich as hell and nothing but a pig setting a bad example…good riddance if that happened. Our media needs to pay more attention to poor people. A little stupidity is okay, but Paris should not be a household name.
But Anna……I felt bad about her. I’ve got sympathy for anybody born poor, as the rich make things so tough for the rest of us.
As far as what she contributed, it wasn’t much, and she was just another celebrity for celebrity’s sake (“father of the baby” is not entertainment, really), but she was FUN to talk about, she was entertaining, and when she became famous, I was glad that a heavier woman was getting some attention, as she was the second coming of the 50′s classic pin-up, but it all went wrong for her. Bad choices? Bad luck with bad people around her? Who knows?
Being a darn fine pin-up is still worthwhile, and I wish she had’ve made more movies, and better movies.
After people started confirming her death, I wished that they were wrong. I guess that’s all I can say :(
I know only 2 things:
1. Anna’s like Elvis. You can say she died young, but actually it was quite a long time after her hotness died. Both of them peaked early and then spent years and years becoming fat drug addicts who became mere curiosities to the public.
2. Sid has waaaaaay too much free time.
#401, I can’t exactly be sympathetic towards ANS’s family when they themselves are trying to cash in on her death while they still can. Did you happen to watch the several interviews her own mother has been doing? How am I supposed to feel bad for people like these? Yeah, like I said earlier I’m not about to start liking her because she’s dead now, because I’m not a hypocrite. And I certainly will not feel sorry for the supposed “grieving” family members who are trying to cash in this cow all they can, no pun intended.
405: “I know only two things.”
Actually, you were wrong about both of them, so thanks for admitting that you know nothing. Please sit down. Thanks.
You assert that Anna was past her shelf life and was just like Elvis, in that they both became fat jokes.
Anna lost the weight. I liked to make fun of her, but I never called her ugly or dull. As for Elvis, he was given terrible advice from Col. Tom Parker
Darn. Typo in my sentence: “Interent,” shoulda been “internet.”
Y’know, it’s Monday now and I hope the Super updates. With a world so full of morons like the guy who wrote the #405 post, maybe a person such as Anna, born poor, can be forgiven for being a bit of a gold-digger.
There’s something to be said for getting away from all the creeps.
ahh FREEDOM,a thing like amber wine.
that lures us down a path of skulls.
407 – No one cares that u get paaaaaid for writing, BUB.
wow….just wow….if this is true it’s sad
