Thanks to her incoherent appearance on the American Music Awards on Sunday, Anna Nicole Smith has lost her job as spokesperson for the weight loss drug Trimspa. I guess they were scared that people would think Trimspa eats away your brain or, worse yet, turns you into Anna Nicole Smith.
Anyways, Anna’s lawyer Howard K. Stern is claiming that Anna wasn’t boozed up but that “She couldn’t really read the teleprompter because she has bad eyes. She flubbed a line, but she’s fine.” Stern’s explanation doesn’t really account for Anna falling into a gift table backstage after she was basically carried away from the podium. Maybe in Anna’s world, having ‘bad eyes’ is code for being drugged up on Trimspa.
Annan, the presence of American Music Awards 2004 has left little doubt his good sense and moderation. He accused his slurred speech and bizarre antics have "bad eyes" no drugs or alcohol, arguing that he could not see the cards to start.
