im so glad i never liked this show….coz im pretty sure i’d be pissed as hell if i did.
Please please please please please please say it ain’t so. Not only will my childhood memories of waking up on Saturday morning (for you younger kids there, Saturday morning cartoons in the 80s were quite possibily the best ever) to watch one of Alvin and and the Chipmunks be destroyed. Not only that, but my respect for Jason Lee will be thrown out the window. Is he seriously going to be playing Dave?????
@50: A remake of Jem is something I would totally get behind. I was cleaning out my garage a few months back and found a box of crap my Mom insisted that was mine and I get out of her house (first she burned the pictures of me, now this. I am begining to think she doesn’t like me). Going through it, I found a Jem cassette! Ah the memories!!!

The Chipmunk Adventure movie was so awesome. The Chipmunks and their slutty girlfriends aka the Chipettes air balloon their way around the world as part of an illegal underground diamond smuggling ring using children (well, chipmunks) to do the dirty work. Rad.

I can’t believe it. This is surely the sign of the apocalypse. That our society has somehow degraded to the point where it is acceptable to have a character eat sh** in a kids flick as a joke. I would not let my kids see this film… if I had kids.

I happened to enjoy the movie. My very first “record”….not CD, but record was Alvin and the Chipmunks! I enjoyed the cartoon as a kid………and I enjoyed the movie as an adult. I thought the chipmunks were adorable!
Lol. I dreamed I’d found a Chipmunks shirt last night, but Ninja Turtles were on it too – but when I went back for it in the dream, it was just the Chipmunks on it – haha. Worst part was [other than it being only a dream] all the shirts were made for lil’ kids! Dagnabit! Even in my dreams I can’t find myself a Chipmunks shirt – lol.
