While leaving Lenox Hill Hospital in New York after being checked out for a suicide attempt, Alec Baldwin snapped and attacked a photographer because he believed Kim Basinger sent him. NY Daily News reports:
“This guy! This guy!” the actor yelled as he burst out of a lobby and grabbed New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis by the collar. Cops immediately pulled the actor off Wiencis and hustled him back inside.
A witness said Baldwin was pacing around the lobby muttering: “They are the lowest scum of the Earth. They are the lowest scum of the Earth.”
Says the man who ends arguments with his14-year-old daughter by threatening to kill himself. At this point, Alec Baldwin might as well forgo any attempt to look like a calm, rational human being and just start shitting on the foot of anyone who pisses him off.
ASSISTANT: Your coffee, Mr. Baldwin.

i actually heard that alec was a republican. maybe what i heard was wrong.
anyway im glad that people recognize that kim basinger is not as innocent as she acts. alec may go overboard, he may be paranoid, but if he is, he has every reason to be. kim has done crazy shit before and thats why alec always asuspects her.well i’m just glad that alec still has a decent career, and that i dont have to see kim’s ugly face on much of anything anymore. alec is still a good looking guy, still has a career, he should focus on findig someone who cares about him to share it with.

That’s the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals will never laugh at, or encourage the death or suicide of an opponent, but conservatives show their lack of intelligence and soul when they make comments like these. As for Alec, I don’t know how anyone can defend the paparazzi. They ARE scum. How would you feel if you had an emotional breakdown and some shmuck was waiting for you outside of the hospital, not giving a sh!t how you feel, as long as he can make money off of you? By contrast I could take a bat to a paparazi. The hero in the photo who SFW loves so much drove in a car down to a hospital where a man was alleged to be released for trying to kill himself so he could get capture and sell images of his pain.

I don’t defend the paps. I don’t think anyone would follow me with a camera while I’m having a ‘breakdown’, I’m a secretary.
He wants to be in the spotlight, you can’t choose When you want to be in it, that’s the game, play it till it’s over. Be polite to the person who is taking a picture of your 50+ non gym attending ass, and be thankful we can’t see your old man gut..

The paparazi certainly have it in for him- but he does give them stories! That doesn’t make them decent people, by a longshot….
I do believe K. Basinger has used every dirty trick in the book. It’s sad when parents use their kids as weapons in divorce disputes. I experienced this first hand during my divorce, my ex didn’t care less about what effect she had on the kids- she just wanted me to suffer the max. amount.
I did get a partial vindication when the judge i my last hearing said that he has never seen a more childish-selfish parent in all his years as a judge! He put a stop to her suit, made her pay court costs, modified the visitation and loudly and publicly criticized her. I felt really good, but less than two years she was at it again!!!!!

I for one enjoy the results of the paps’ work… I’m a collector of celebrity pics and not only do we get to see new sides of the celebs in pap candids (personal style etc.), we get to see how they react in stressful situations, revealing a lot more about them as well.
I mean, people reacting like Alec here are just not worth it. Attacking the paps who are just doing their work is childish and immature. Just smile and pose and get it over with.
Wonder why some people again and again explode around the paps? – Well, the paps get more for ‘action pics’ than simple poses so whenever they’ve caught up with someone like Alec here, they intentionally provoke him in order to get a response that can sell pics. In other word: He asked for it and fell for it.

Thurs March 4th 2010 The same photographer Tim Wiencis chased down two thugs Thursday afternoon on the Upper West Side in Manhattan when they robbed a woman named Jini Rooney of her iPhone inside a Starbucks. Tim Wiencis chased the two punks and then another guy named Sami tackled one of them. The two thieves were taken to jail and the woman got her new iPhone back.
