1. Why do i feel like I've already seen this? Beyonce's Baby Boy with Usher? It's not bad in and of itself, but totally unoriginal.

The best part of this video was the big sign that said "ARLEM", which I assume stands for Harlem in New York City, and not Haarlem in the Netherlands. I guess it's vital to the concept of the video that people know it takes place in Harlem and not Chicago or St. Louis.

I like the idea that there are these big lighted signs all over New York that tell you what neighborhood you're in. Like if you go to East Flatbush there are billboards that say "EAST FLATBUSH". Xtina should do a series of music videos around this concept.

Why does she always have to flirt/make-out with the camera?She may have guy fans that think she is hot, but most of them probably hate her music and are not going to pay for any X-tina merchandise (except maybe posters), so she needs to give it a rest already! So, I couldn't actually watch the video, because the skank realized someone was violating her copyright. Nonetheless, I can say with certainty that the video was about as valuable as a warm bucket of hamster vomit. Keep in mind, that's only if the video was her best yet.

As for the song, the vocal track isn't actually all that horrible. However, the music doesn't match it well. Perhaps she'll come out with a remix that puts the vocals to a modern dance beat, and it will stop sucking ass so much.

She is head and shoulders above any of the other big name female singers out there. I am more of a jam band fan, but I have to give her credit for being awesome. I like her looks, her dancing, her singing and her ability to pull it all together with a song like this and just flat out ring the bell!! It would be great if more performers would take a few pages from her book regarding live performance. When she hosted Saturday Night Live, the cast goofed on whether she needed to "whore it up" or not to be appealing. Well, my $.02 is that she doesn't need to whore it up, but I'm glad she does. I agree with one of the comments here that said something like "Who cares. This is just another music video." But the live VMA performance of this was outstanding! check it out --they are re-playing it as a video on MTV. Peace out.

Are you complaining bout the heavy 60s/80s 'New Romantics' presence there is in a lot of the Indie Rock scene? No, you're not.

it's definetly gutsy, but got to give it to the girl for knowing what she wants and going for it. she's got the balls, the voice, and the talent to back it too. unlike other artists out there, she actually put out a well thought out piece of work that not only references but respects styles of our musical history. she intellectually fuses different genres of music to create a new sound all of her own. she is hands down, one of the best vocal talents in the industry today. i applaud her for going against the grain and being the individual she is. she is an artist, she has a vision, and she should express that in any way she feels. this was all well executed during her live performance on the mtv movie awards show. her presence, confidence, and skill was undeniable.

and for all the haters out there,
just because you don't like her or her music for whatever reason doesn't mean that it's bad.... i don't particularly like country music for example, but i know that it's not all that bad especially for the people that like it. i can appreciate that. that is obviously a genre of music that needs just as much talent as any other and deserves just as much respenct as any other. we should all be so lucky to be blessed with the talents these artists possess.
