Kate Moss will sell you a cell phone
The latest stop on Kate Moss' road map to sobriety is a commercial pitching cell phones. The strung out supermodel will star in a television ad debuting Christmas Eve in the UK for Virgin Mobile.
"Kate Moss is an icon," said James Kydd, brand director of Virgin Mobile. "We are thrilled that she has agreed to appear in our latest commercial. In return, the least we can do is make it really funny."
They can do a hell of a lot more than make it funny. They can also mix in a kilo of coke and a copy of Dance Dance Revolution. That way Kate can dance around naked until New Year's.

Do the phones have the number for a sponsor already installed for us?

Is it just me or is 'Virgin Mobile' a contradiction in terms ? Sounds a bit like ' Have Gun, Will Travel' if you know what I mean. In any case I'm not sure Kate qualifies, although I'm sure she could fake it.
But really Kate - with that resume - isn't it time for "Dances with Stars" ?

C'mon, really. What's next for her? Cleaning bed sores and mopping up loose eye balls in an Azerberjani death camp? Selling burial plots to Hutu's and Tutsi's? Let's see if Virgin has the stones to make an ad showing her laying on a bed gurgling through her spit, picking up their cellphone and mumbling "urgl...9..1..1...yeah it's me again...acchh...yeeck"

Well it will beat the shit out of the Queens speech, and the obligatory Only Fools and Horses Christmas special.
Also that clip of her dancing topless would make a great screensaver for your phone.

there are no more only fools and horses EVER, they only made 3 christmas specials and it ended last year.

"Kate Moss is an icon," said James Kydd
An icon? What is he talking about? She's an icon to crackheads, that's about it.
I guess that means James Kydd is a crackhead. The name "Virgin Mobile" probably makes sense to him.

Calm down Spacca, I was only trying to point to point out that British TV can be a tad repetitive over Christmas. And that a coked up model trying to flog us Bransons Mobiles would be a Hell of a lot more entertaining than the usual “specials”. Oh according to the website http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/onlyfools/christmas/ they made a good deal more than 3 of them.

Why is it that when the people 'we' idolize fall, many of us enjoy stomping on them when they're down or as they are getting back up?
I say it's because most of you have never achieved/ and never will achieve the level of success of a Kate Moss (and other) fallen idols. You are jealous, never-beens, and/or immature 18-year-olds who are still living at home with mommy & daddy.
I wish Kate Moss well and I hope that she is around for a long time. She's got a child to raise. Good luck to them both.

If that "level of success" means being an unwed mother who’s picture was plastered on the front of magazines doing lines of coke and ruining her cushy career that entails her being paid to stand around and look anorexic, then, NO, I am not jealous of Kate Moss.
I actually feel pity for her. Most celebrities aren’t smart enough to handle success. And they do eventually self-destruct.

JerseyGirl:
She's trying to get herself straight and out of the mess she's put herself into. We all deserve a second chance.
If she's paid to "stand around and look anorexic" as you put it, then that's because that's what the public wants and buys into. We set the trends or at least buy into them & follow them.
I don't believe that most celebrities self-destruct, many do, but most that's a cop-out.
