’19 Kids And Counting’ Is Coming Back. The Whole Family.
Back in July, TLC cancelled 19 Kids And Counting a few months after it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested his sisters causing his parents to go on Fox News and lie their faces off, which mostly resulted in them implicating themselves even further of doing a horrible-ass job protecting their daughters thanks to their bullshit belief system. A bullshit belief system that is actually way outside the norm of mainstream Christianity and makes the entire religion look even more bigoted and misogynistic than it already is, yet the Duggars still get a pass because they say the right magic words about fictional characters and vote Republican. Which brings me to my point because 19 Kids and Counting’s cancellation happened a solid two months before Josh Duggar’s Ashley Madison scandal broke, which is way less disturbing than all that of sister molesting business, so you’ll never guess how Christianity Post decided to frame the show going off the air in its report about TLC bringing it back:
The stars of the series recently suffered through some scandals when it was revealed that Joshua Duggar took part in AshleyMadison.com, a website that serves as an online dating site for married men. With the family known as devout Christians, the news of Joshua’s infidelity led to the show’s cancellation.
Nope. Not even close. It was the sister touching. The sister touching cancelled the show. Not that it matters anymore because a bunch of people tuned in to watch Jill & Jessa: Counting On thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle trotting out poor broken, never-stood-a-chance Anna Duggar to keep the gravy train running, and it worked.
After seeing the success of the short series, it was announced that TLC will be bringing back “19 Kids and Counting” to the small screen. Reports show that a camera crew was recently seen with the Duggar family. They were seen in several locations such as a lumberyard and a thrift store.
In addition, it was revealed that the upcoming focus of the new season will be on Jana Duggar. The premiere of the upcoming season will show her opening up about her sentiments on being single. Her younger sisters are already married and have families of their own, which causes her to compare herself to them.
And while, “Why aren’t I married and farting out kids? I should erase my entire personality and hopes and dreams to make that happen!” sounds like a great, wholesome family message, I’m actually on board with the Duggars coming back. Even Josh. And you know why? Because reality TV is an active turd volcano of awful people for other awful people to watch. If there’s one place the Duggars belong, it’s the same Netflix queue as Real Housewives and the Kardashians. Just the fucking scum of earth. That’s their home now.
